GOOK LUCK TO US ONCE AGAIN!
------------------------------------------------------------------

So here we are, once again attempting to tempt fate and see whether our luck is going to be aligned with the stars in the heavens this Friday 1st March 2010, when the $10M TOTO hongbao draw will bring forth added riches beyond our wildest imagination.

The number of shares we received this year is 53 with the total amount collected amounting to $265. This translates to a share value of $188,679 per share in the event that we are the sole winner of the $10M draw.

Do you believe we will strike the big one this time round?

I ask again, do you believe?

Once more, do you believe?

If you still haven't answered "yes" to any of these three questions then please come see me to take back your bet.

We believe! We believe! We believe!

This is how we are going to place our bets:
System 9 = 5 tickets @ $42 each = $210
System 8 = 3 tickets @ $14 each = $42
System 7 = 2 tickets @ $3.50 each = $7
Ordinary bet = 12 tickets @ 50 cents each = $6

Our mystery buyer will join the expected long queue this evening to purchase the tickets. The tickets numbers will be revealed after the purchase.

See all of you at Singaporepools HQ this Monday 1st March 2010.
Cheers!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you still remember this post from last year? Well, one year has passed us by and it is time to dream once again. We didn't do too well the last time round and hopefully we will do better this time.

This year's $10M draw is on Friday 26 February 2010.
We are going to do something different. For the past few years we had had not enough luck and the most that we have won were less than three figures.

This time, as suggested by some, we are going to divide the pool into four groups. Each group will put their heads together and come up with a set of 10 numbers each. We will place our bets on system 10.

Sounds like a good idea to me. This is a TEN million dollar hongbao draw. It is the year Twenty-TEN and we are placing bets on System TEN.

Looks like the stars are aligned for us this time.

Interested?

Why TOTO 2010 has two big draws

This Lunar New Years ushers in the year of the TIGER! We hear all sorts of mixed reactions and comments from all over the place, from the wet markets to the supermarkets, from Kopitiams to Online discussion boards.

For us at HIS, we have our very own fengshui master who goes by the name of QUEK HOCK LEONG. You will know he is a master when you see him and his shining crystal ball.

This is what he has to say when looking into the prospects of striking the big one in the biggest annual lottery draw - the Chinese New Year Hongbao TOTO draw. . .

This year is special: we are going to see two draws - giving us twice the chance to strike it big.

Here is what our fengshui master has to say: "This year, Filing Team got two tigers (one Malay & one Chinese) that's why Singaporepools is giving two times big TOTO, surely HUAT AH! ! !

So how? Do you agree or not?

---------------------------------------

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, this is the message I received from our fengshui master after he read the events that had unfolded during the passing year of the Ox. He advised:

Tiger year must drink Tiger Beer, must eat Tiger Prawns, must use Tiger Balm and catch a Tiger Show ... but ... that's as far as you should go. No matter what, you must not play play like Tiger Woods.

Very sound advice indeed.

------------------------------------------

I conveyed the advice to one former colleague, Sim Ghee Koon, and he shared this very thoughtful piece of news with me: He said:

Mt Teo and his family will visit me and I'll ask them to visit you too. The Teo family members are - Teo Bei Pio, Teo Tua Chye, Teo To To, Teo Bun Ji. They all wish you good luck for 2010.

Don't worry though. One of the family member is out of town -Teo Sum Man.

Happy Chinese new Year!
