There's a new dance going around in TTSH. It's called,'The Hand Dance'.
Here are some of the wonderful moments captured during the recent hand-dancing (er...handwashing) training sessions.

A Meeting Place To Stay Connected From Wherever You Are
Remember young children are the #1 spreaders of germs. Proper handwashing is important, but we don't get sick as much around our house since our daughter learned this great program at daycare: Germy Wormy Germ Awareness for Germ Transportation Vehicles ages 2 -7. The kids learn how to both avoid AND keep from spreading germs. We now no longer play the pass the germs game. Check it out- Schools and daycare centers are raving about it!

Give your kids a PLACE to give their germs to, instead of YOU!
Thanks Maggie, for the added comments and url link. You're absolutely correct that good habits have to be inculcated during the young and formative years of every child.
ReplyDeletePersonally, my 7 year old boy has already got into the habit of regularly washing his hands, especially after returning from the playground or before he consumes any food.
We, the parents, also get the occassional reminder from him when we start eating without washing our hands.
